Why this matching?
Apple has always maintained two case sizes for its watches, with compatibility across several generations:
• The 38 mm, 40 mm, 41 mm and now 42 mm (Series 10) models share the same attachment width and are therefore compatible with our 42 mm straps.
• The 42 mm (previous generation), 44 mm, 45 mm, 46 mm and 49 mm (Ultra) models have a wider attachment and require a 46 / 49 mm strap.

The Story
Sometimes a simple encounter is enough to give birth to beautiful things. In 2020, we met a Lyon-based start-up, Ictyos, with whom we share the same values. Specializing in marine leather, they transform fish skins destined to become waste into a precious raw material.
We then took the bold gamble of launching the world's first collection of Apple Watch bands in marine leather, specifically trout leather. For this first collection, we chose four classic colors from an almost infinite palette: Dawn, Black Pearl, Red Coral, and Emerald. Classics are classic for good reasons. To accompany this leather, we imagined a new Art Nouveau buckle with arabesque curves. It recalls the Greek letter Omega, a symbol of end but above all of renewal. A bit like this marine leather, to which we give a second life.
By turning to this collection, you can be sure to choose a band that reflects your image, made from noble leather, with a unique pattern drawn by nature. For us, this is modernity, oriented towards an eco-responsible future and meeting the needs of tomorrow.
Origin
To ensure high-quality marine leathers, Ictyos selects the finest fish skins from its French agri-food partners and always favors a short circuit, respectful of the environment by minimizing its carbon footprint as much as possible. Through this action, the entire industry is encouraged to improve its practices:
- To obtain the best leathers, animals must have enough space,
- They must live long enough for their size to be sufficient,
- The creation of waste is limited. Today, 50 tons of fish skins are discarded annually in France.
The Horizon collection is crafted from trout leather, known for its suppleness, high resistance, and very fine and regular grain. It is obtained through vegetable tanning to make the leather eternal and prevent it from naturally degrading over time. This tanning method, one of the most appreciated by enthusiasts, also protects your skin against any allergies.

Is the strap sold with adapters?
Yes, all straps come with adapters for Apple Watch. There are no additional costs.
How should I care for my leather strap?
Over time, your leather strap will look worn and patinated (in a good way). Never apply aggressive or corrosive products, as it is a material in contact with the skin, so be cautious of allergies. Avoid immersing it as much as possible, and if it does get wet, let it dry near a radiator, never with a hairdryer. Learn more.
Can I go in the water with this leather strap?
Leather straps are treated to withstand everyday splashes like hand washing or rain. However, they should not be submerged, and it's best to avoid getting them wet. Soap, sea salt, or pool chlorine will damage the strap.
